| My rates are based on the time and complexity of each search. In most cases, I charge a flat fee plus photocopy fees. My hourly rate starts at $50.00 For WWII Unit records: I charge $25.00 to see if your records are at the Archives. If you hire me, I will credit that to the total order. Most Army unit records are there. For flat rate searches, I ask for $10.00 to cover my expenses if I do not find anything after consulting with an archivist and looking through the finding aid. FLAT RATE: Civil War Pension Records: $50.00 (Army, Navy and Marine Corps) Army Award Case Files (WWII-VN): $50.00 (These usually have the eye witness statements) Civil War Compiled Service Record: $25.00 Campaign Medal Record with Medal #: $25.00 Campaign Medal Application: $25.00 Army General Orders: $25.00 Missing Aircrew Report: $25.00 Flag Rank Biographies: $25.00 Navy Award Citations: $25.00 (I copy all citations for each individual name) Marine Corps Award Citations: $25.00 Marine Corps Casualty Cards: $25.00 (2 or more are $15.00 each) HOURLY RATES FOR: Navy Deck Logs Navy Muster Rolls Navy War Diaries Army and Marine Corps After Action Reports PHOTOCOPIES: National Archives: $.25 per page Microfilm records: $.50 per page Navy Records: $.30 per page |
