MILITARY RESEARCH ASSOCIATES LLC
EXPERIENCE
Mr. Tim Frank studied history at the Catholic University of America and
earned his BA in 1998.  He then worked as a research historian for History
Associates in Rockville, MD.  Over the next year, he
spent most of his
time researching military records at the  National
Archives and Library of
Congress.  Frank
also authored several articles on Medal of Honor
recipients (see examples linked
below).

In 1999, Frank entered the history program at Kansas State University
and earned his MA in 2002.  Much of his course work at KSU focused on
military history.
Frank interviewed 60 Medal of Honor recipients and used
some of the interviews in his thesis, "Recounted Valor: Interviews with
Medal of Honor Recipients."  In his thesis, Frank compared the oral
history accounts to the eye witness statements in award case files compiled
shortly after the Medal of Honor actions in World War II.

After graduate school, Mr. Frank worked as a contract  historian for the
Congressional Medal of Honor Society where he organized and catalogued
their archives.  Before opening his research business, he served as
an office manager for National Capital Historical Sales in Northern
Virginia.

At present, Frank researches records in all of the major military archives
in the Washington,
DC area.
